With apps moving to the cloud and users moving off the network legacy remote access technology (VPN) no longer meets enterprise needs. To remain competitive, companies need scalability and agility. Datacenter appliances impede both.

The software-defined perimeter (SDP) is a cloud-based approach to remote access. SDP mediates the connection between users and internal applications, without placing users on the network. This allows for zero-trust access which reduces the attack surface, while also increasing IT’s visibility into our user activity and applications.
